Winter Rest is an opportunity to actively rest, to re-commit to (or be introduced to) practices that support mental, physical, and emotional well-being during the times of darkness and cold.
During this retreat, we will actively embrace this process of being with and in our bodies in a friendly, supportive way through guided practices characterized by deep inward listening and kindness towards our bodies, minds, hearts, and spirits. Experience 4 restful supported practices, a sound-bath, and two guided meditations, as well as time in the Sauna and quiet time on the land.
Perhaps you’ll feel a deep sense of recognition, a sense of being honored when you give yourself a little time away.
Here at Aldermarsh, participants will also find nourishment physically and energetically. The beautiful land of Aldermarsh will hold us, the practices and shared intention of the group will offer us support, and the cooking of Aria Peterman will nourish our bodies.
